Pan Fried Fish or Fillets

Utensils:

REGULAR SKILLETS, JUMBO SKILLET, SAUTE PANS ELECTRIC SKILLET
 

Ingredients:

  • Fish
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 3 tablespoons corn meal
  • 1 teaspoons salt

Directions:

Preheat skillet on medium heat or 300 degrees for the electric skillet. Dredge fish through flour, corn meal and salt mixture. Put “Pam” butter or margarine in skillet and place fish in skillet IMMEDIATELY. Brown one side, turn carefully and brown on the other side. Cooking time is approximately 10 minutes. Cooking oils can be substituted for butter or margarine. Uses less oils than traditional methods.
