Glazed Scallops with Linguine

Utensils:

WOK or Large Skillet
 

Ingredients:

  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup water chestnuts
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • 1 lb bay scallops (rinsed)
  • 1 lb asparagus, cut in matchstick size pieces
  • 8 oz linguine pasta (cooked)
  • 1 shallot, minced
  • 4 tsp fresh cilantro, minced (optional)
  • 1 recipe mandarin glaze

Directions:

Prepare all ingredients above ready for use. Pour half mandarin glaze in wok or large skillet. Cook at high temperature, add garlic, shallots and ginger, simmer for 3 minutes; add the asparagus and scallops and braise for 5 minutes. Stir in pasta and sprinkle cilantro.
