Step #2 read the instructions

Take a few minutes to read the instructions that were included with your cookware (included w/ sets only) and go to to refresh your memory about how to get the most from your new cookware and introduce you to some tasty recipes, meal ideas, cleaning tips, and several simple cooking techniques. From there you can access, Getting the Most From Your Cookware under the Cookware Basics tab, Recipes, Helpful Hints, and Kitchen Hints.

Step #3 give your new cookware a bubble bath

This is important. Before your first use, each piece must be soaked & washed thoroughly with hot soapy water with
1 to 2 cups of white vinegar added. You should remove the ‘Ultra Temp Thermometer’ from the lid, by turning it slightly left or right and pulling it out of the top knob assembly. You should soak your new pans for at least 15 to 20 minutes to remove any residual manufacturing oils. After the initial cleansing, we recommend you use a ‘Stainless Steel Cleanser’ regularly such as Bar Keepers Friend, Bon Ami, Cleen King, Cameo or any other stainless steel cleaner. You may have to snug up the handles with a Phillips head screwdriver., the handles may have come loose from shipping.

Step #4 find out what medium means

Fill a saucepan with about one inch of water. Cover the pan with the whistle open. Set the burner to where you think medium is, and the whistle should sound in 7 to 10 minutes. If it takes more time, try it again at a higher setting, less time, lower the heat and try again. Once you find’medium’, cooking the ‘Ultra Tech’ way is easy.

Step #5 Start Cooking

Do you have to learn to cook again? NO, of course not! This cookware will allow you to cook like traditional cookware, but due to the superior materials, precision craftsmanship and un-paralled features, your cooking system can also do amazing things, ordinary cookware won’t… Cook vegetable with little to no water, retaining vitamins and minerals. Cook meat without added grease, oil or butter, lowering the cholesterol and fat content in your cooking. Also, Stove-Top Baking, reducing the use of the oven in your kitchen which may lower your energy cost.

Step #6 Cooking on all types of ranges

Your new cookware works great on all types of ranges, gas, electric, halogen, and induction. With an electric range or a halogen range, when cooking vegetables, after the ‘Ultra Temp Whistle’ Sounds, close the whistle and remove from burner. NOTE: For potatoes, corn on the cob and other vegetables like them, keep about one quarter of an inch of water in the pan as a moisture base, when the ‘Ultra Temp Whistle’ Sounds, close the whistle and lower the heat to low, and cook 10 to 15 minutes more depending on the vegetable. (for baked potatoes, it is always best to cut in half before cooking)

Most of all ENJOY!

Your ‘Cooking System’ provides you the tools you need to create healthy, flavorful meals that are fast, easy and fun.
